Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of eddivo. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions go to privacy@dokport.dk.

The service

eddivo helps you draft, customize and publish social media posts about your events, and optionally syncs a calendar and connects to your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account so you can publish from inside the app.

Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account, including anything published through connections you've authorized. Keep your login credentials to yourself.

Connected platforms

When you connect Facebook, Instagram or Google Calendar, you're granting eddivo permission to act on your behalf on that platform — for example, publishing a post you approved, or reading and writing events on a calendar you created through the app. You can revoke this at any time from the Connections page. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms (Meta's and Google's), which we don't control.

AI-generated content

eddivo drafts text, and can generate music and images, using third-party AI services. Content generated this way is provided for use in the posts you create and publish through eddivo. We do not transfer ownership of it to you, and AI-generated material may not attract the same copyright protection as work made entirely by people — that varies by country and is unsettled in most of them.

Generated music is instrumental and is created from the description of your own sound in your brand profile. eddivo will not ask a model to imitate a named artist or reproduce a specific recording, and requests of that kind are removed before they reach the provider. Each generated file keeps a record of which service and model made it, and when.

You are responsible for anything you supply to be worked on — audio, images, lyrics, video or text — including having the rights to use it.

Content you upload

You keep ownership of the pictures, music, video, stickers and text you upload to eddivo. By uploading, you confirm that you own that content or have all the rights, licences and permissions needed to use it the way you use it in eddivo — including publishing it to your social media accounts — and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. That includes the right to use recognisable people in photos and video, and music you did not make yourself.

You are responsible for the content you upload and for any claims that arise from it. You give eddivo permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you — for example to show it in your library, frame it in a post and publish it where you ask us to. We may remove content that we are told, or have reason to believe, infringes someone's rights.

Acceptable use

Don't use eddivo to publish content that violates Meta's or Google's own policies, infringes someone else's rights, or is illegal where you're operating. We can suspend or remove access for accounts that do.

No warranty

eddivo is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and posts publishing correctly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for lost posts, missed publishing windows, or consequences of a connected platform (Meta, Google) being unavailable or changing its own API.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will update the date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
